Exhibitions & International Festival of Pastel
In 1984 the Society undertook a crusade to save the art of pastel, by multiplying the exhibitions and, gathering French and foreign pastellists.
To focus attention on the pastel, the Société des Pastellistes de France has placed its stakes on the outstanding “Savoir-faire” and the “ beauty” of carefully selected works.
Its Exhibitions have become the “Rendez-vous” of thousands European of art lovers and collectors.
Pastelists from 25 nations participate in its more important exhibitions : Paris, Château de Maisons-Laffitte, Lille, Lyon, Cultural Club of European Communities Luxembourg, Senlis, Compiègne and since the last 5 years , the International Festival of Pastel at Feytiat .
